BCTS 5: 6 DAYS LAKE NAIVASHA / LAKE NAKURU /MASAI MARA
08.00 hrs: After full safari briefing drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch.
14.00hrs: 1 hour boat ride along the shores of Lake Naivasha arriving at Crescent Bird Island.
Upon reaching Crescent Island, embark on a captivating, guided walk led by a knowledgeable guide. The Game Sanctuary offers a rich diversity of animal species, including hippos, long-tailed mongooses, Goliath herons, bee-eaters, eagle owls, giraffes, zebras, bat-eared foxes, long-tailed cormorants, bushbucks, vervet monkeys, crayfish, fish eagles, pelicans, kingfishers, woodpeckers, and more.
Immerse yourself in the natural surroundings, marvel at the abundant wildlife, and learn about the fascinating behaviours and characteristics of the resident animals.
After the walk, return to your hotel for a dinner and overnight.
09.00 hrs. Depart after breakfast with a picnic lunch box for a Full Day Game Drive in Lake Nakuru Park. Proceed for a game drive round Lake Nakuru to view the RHINOS, flamingos, waterbuck, buffaloes, Lions, Leopard…
The flamingos at Lake Nakuru are often described as “The World’s Greatest Bird Spectacle.” After bird and game viewing check into the hotel with private Shower/toilet. Dinner and overnight at hotel on the shores of Lake Elmenteita.
06.30 hrs: Depart from Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Hot lunch on arrival at our Private Campsite.
15.30 hrs. Proceed for a game drive in search of Black-Maned lion, elephants, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. After a full afternoon game drive return to camp for dinner and overnight.
06.30 hrs: Early to rise early to spot. This is one of the best game drives of the day.
After breakfast and a hot cup of Chai (Tea) or Kahawa (coffee) head into the park for our first game drive.
The cool early morning weather is excellent for spotting Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Hyena.
Return to camp for lunch.
15.30 hrs: Full Afternoon game drive. On every game drive we will try and explore a different part of the park. After watching the beautiful Mara Sunset head back to camp for dinner and overnight.
08.00 hrs: After breakfast, proceed on a FULL DAY Game drive with picnic Lunch and also visit the Hippo Pool (Mara River). Here you can come out of the vehicle and sit on the rocks and view the hippos and crocodiles in the river. You can also go for a short walk with a warden. Return back to camp for Dinner and Overnight.
07.00 hrs. Depart after breakfast Masai Mara for arriving in Mai Mahiu for lunch. After lunch depart for Nairobi at around 16.00 hrs.
Drop off to your hotel or the airport.
