10 Days Amboseli / Mt. Kenya / Samburu / Nakuru / Masai Mara

Day 1: Amboseli:

08.00 hrs: Leave Nairobi via the Athi Plains for Amboseli Game Reserve arriving at camp in time for a hot lunch.

14:00 hrs: Masai Village Visit for a Traditional Masai Tour. ( Masai Dances, Fire Lighting Ceremony, etc) with Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the background

16:00 hrs: Afternoon Game Drive. There return to camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Amboseli:

07:00 hrs: Full day explore the park, 07:00 hrs: Full day to explore the park, you will have your picnic lunch with you on this day so that we can maximize the day inside the park. Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya and is often referred to as “The home of Elephants” and some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, Cheetahs, Hyena, Bat Eared Fox and many species of plains game who reside in thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli / Mt. Kenya:

After breakfast depart from Amboseli via Nairobi and proceed to Naru Moru, picnic lunch en route Afternoon at Leisure – Optional Walk to the Mau Mau Caves / Horse Back Riding (organised by the hotel). Dinner and overnight in hotel at the base of the Mountain

Day 4: Mt. Kenya / Samburu ( Samburu Sopa Lodge )

09.00 hrs: After breakfast, leave Naru Moru for Samburu Game Reserve arriving at the lodge for a hot lunch. After Lunch spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool side or should you like it is possible to Visit a The Samburu Tribe Village( Extra) 15.30 hrs: Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the LODGE

Day 5: Samburu:

06.30 hrs: Early morning pre-breakfast game drive.Breakfast at the lodge. 10.30 hrs: Mid morning game drive. Lunch at the lodge. 15.30 hrs: Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Samburu / Nakuru (Flamingos)

07.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Samburu for Thomson’s Falls with picnic lunch and thereafter continue to Lake Nakuru National Park. On arrival at Lake Nakuru proceed for a game drive to view RHINO, and the flamingos often described as the “WORLD’S GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE.” After a full afternoon game drive, depart at 18.00 hrs for Lake Elementaita for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Nakuru / Masai Mara:

07.00 hrs: After breakfast, leave Nakuru for Masai Mara Game Reserve, picnic lunch en route. On arrival, proceed for a game drive in search of Black-Maned lion, elephants, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 : Masai Mara:

06.30 hrs: Early to rise early to spot. This is one of the best game drives of the day. After a hot cup of Chai ( Tea ) or Kahawa ( coffee ) head into the park for our first game drive of the day. The cool early morning weather is excellent for spotting Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, and Hyena. 10.30 hrs: After breakfast head back into the park. This game drive is great to see elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, and other plains games. Return to campsite for hot lunch 14.00 hrs( Optional Masai Village Visit USD 20 per person paid directly to the chief). 15.30 hrs: Full Afternoon game drive. On every game drive, we will try and explore a different part of the park. After watching the beautiful Mara Sunset head back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Masai Mara:

07:00 hrs: After breakfast, leave Masai Mara driving through the park for Nairobi. Picnic lunch en route, arriving in Nairobi around 16.00 hrs. Drop off at your city hotel or International Airport

  Kenyan Safaris a thrilling experience
We were a group of 14 and decided on a 11 day tour to witness wlid life in Kenya. We decided on doing the tour thru best camping which was customized for us It was a very good experience for all of us and things were arranged very well right from the time we landed in Kenya till we departed 11 days later. We were given 3 land cruisers which made our travel comfortable. Our 3 drivers cum guides abdullah, Patrik and Ben were really good and extremely helpful. The hotels and the arrangements were very well managed. Imran and Shifana the owners of best camping were in constant touch to ensure everything was going well. The sightings at all venues added to the exhilarating experience. Staying in tents in Masai mara for 3 days was a different experience which all enjoyed. All in all a great trip with wonderful arrangements. Would recommend best camping for all those who want to experience wild life

  Best Trip
We were 14 of us and i believe all of us were a little nervous of how our trip is going to be and how the tour will be managed. However, the warmth with which Best Camping - Imran and Shifana - welcomed us at the airport put us at ease and managed matters for us so beautifully, efficiently and excellently as would have been done only by family. Continuously in touch with us during the full tour, with the super driver guides - Ben, Abdallah and Patrick - and the sightings which we had only earlier dreamed of - made this really one of the BEST tours. Our 11 day, 3 vehicle, 14 people tour was an amazing experience. The well laid out itinerary ensured we had a comfortable and safe journey through out. We were lucky to see the famed wildlife in this wonderful land, thanks to the keen instincts and knowledge of our guides, Ben, Abdullah and Patrika. Keep up the good work Imraan and Shifana.   Great camping at the Masai Mara!
My niece and I used Best Camping for the 3-day Masai Mara adventure. It was a great few days in the “bush”. Our driver, Simon, drove us the Nairobi, through the park on safari and back to Nairobi. The safari was amazing. We saw multiple prides of lion, hyena, cheetah, so many elephants, zebra and even a leopard. We also did the hot air balloon experience which was amazing. The owner met us at our hotel, gave us “travel snacks” and was so welcoming from start to finish. We arrived to the camp and the beds were comfy, tents were clean, and we had a private bathroom/hot shower. The guys at the camp were so friendly and we felt very safe and secure. The cook, Joseph was excellent with both meat and veggie options. This was a great “bush” experience that I hope to do again soon.

  Trip of a lifetime
The trip was incredible. We went for our honeymoon and it was the trip of a lifetime. Best Camping was truly fantastic and Imraan was so incredibly helpful. We went to Ngorongoro and the Sarengeti.   Parikh Family Best Trip 6/2024
We went to Kenya with all our family members total of 10 with my 2 daughters family and 4 grandchildren. Best Camping tours with Mr Imrran Nanji and he has done excellent arrangements with all luxury tents and lodges in Amboseli as well as in Masai Mara and in Nakuru . We are vegetarian and Food at all places was excellent and had lot of tasty Indian food and chefs would make food that we requested also. We were in 2 vans and his drivers were remarkable and took us to all Safari and saw lots of animals too. Mr. IMRAAN NANJI spend lot of time with us and made us feel like a family member which was beyond our expectations and we had privilege to meet his wife, daughter and son. His personal attention was appreciated very much. We were celebrating Anniversary and birthday for IMRAAN made sure that the celebration was done with cake and with music and staff dances. Hot Air balloon was the highlight of our trip with lot of animals viewing and excellent breakfast where we landed and celebrated 80 th birthday for my husband. This trip was remarkable life time experience and according to my kids and grandkids this was the best trip ever. This was possible because of Best Camping tour company and Mr. IMRAAN NANJI .
