BCTS 10: 11 Days Masai Mara / Nakuru / Samburu / Mt. Kenya / Amboseli / Tsavo West

Best of Kenya Safari. 11 Days safari visiting the best Parks Kenya has to offer. 3 nights in Masai Mara, 1 night in Lake Nakuru, 2 nights in Samburu, 1 night in Mt. Kenya, 2 nights in Amboseli, and 1 night in Tsavo West

Day 1: Nairobi / Masai Mara

06.30 hrs: Transfer from your hotel to our office for a full safari briefing. Depart from Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Hot lunch on arrival at our Private Campsite.

15.30 hrs. Proceed for a game drive in search of Black-Maned lion, elephants, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. After a full afternoon game drive return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara – 2 Game Drives

06.30 hrs: Early to rise early to spot. This is one of the best game drives of the day. After breakfast and a hot cup of Chai (Tea) or Kahawa (coffee) head into the park for our first game drive. The cool early morning weather is excellent for spotting Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Hyena. Return to camp for lunch. 15.30 hrs: Full Afternoon game drive. On every game drive we will try and explore a different part of the park. After watching the beautiful Mara Sunset head back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Optional 2 Game Drive Or Full Day Drive

08.00 hrs: After breakfast, proceed on a FULL DAY Game drive with picnic Lunch and also visit the Hippo Pool (Mara River). Here you can come out of the vehicle and sit on the rocks and view the hippos and crocodiles in the river. You can also go for a short walk with a warden. Return back to camp for Dinner and Overnight. Optional: Full Morning and Full Afternoon Game Drives

Day 4: Masai Mara / Lake Nakuru National Park

07.30 hrs: After breakfast, leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch, proceed for a game drive round Lake Nakuru to view the RHINOS, flamingos, waterbuck, buffaloes etc. The flamingos at Lake Nakuru are often described as “The World’s Greatest Bird Spectacle.” After bird and game viewing check into the hotel with private Shower/toilet. Dinner and overnight at hotel on the shores of Lake Elementaita.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru / Samburu National Reserve

Early morning bird walk on the shores of Elementaita. 07.00 hrs: After breakfast, leave via Thompsons Falls for Samburu Game Reserve, picnic lunch en-route. 15.30 hrs: Proceed for a game drive in search of the elusive leopard, lions, long necked graceful Gerenuk, Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Oryx and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at Lodge / Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 6: Samburu

06.30 hrs: This is one of the best game drives to watch herds of elephants only a few yards away from you as they come to the river to drink and bathe. Return to your lodge for Lunch. After lunch spend the afternoon lying around the pool or enjoy an afternoon nap. 15.30 hrs: Full Afternoon game drive in search of big cats, Elephants, Reticulated Giraffe, and plains game. After watching the beautiful Samburu sunset over River Ewaso Nyiro, return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight at lodge

Day 7: Samburu / Mt. Kenya Hotel

After breakfast, leave Samburu for Mt. Kenya arriving at your hotel for lunch. Afternoon nature walk around the hotel (Included in the price) or Walk / Horseback ride along the foothills of Mount Kenya; visiting the Mau Mau Caves and visit the freshwater streams running down from Mt. Kenya. (Extra – Paid at the hotel). Dinner and overnight at the hotel. OPTIONAL UPGRADE: ABERDARES COUNTRY CLUB & THE ARK After Breakfast depart from Nairobi arriving at Aberdare Country Club for Lunch. Afternoon is at Leisure (Swim, Go for a walk around the golf course, rent a bicycle..). At 16.30 hrs take the afternoon shuttle to The Ark. The evening and night are spent on your comfortable perch, above the floodlit water hole and saltlick where, all night long, a procession of animals come to drink. Dinner and overnight at The Ark

Day 8: Mt. Kenya / Nairobi / Amboseli

After breakfast leave Mt. Kenya via the Athi Plains for Amboseli Game Reserve arriving at your camp for lunch. 15.30 hrs: Full Afternoon game drive. Return to Camp in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Amboseli – Full Day Game Drive

06.00 hrs: Wake Up call. This is the best time to view Mt. Kilimanjaro. 08.00 hrs: After Breakfast depart for a full day game drive of Amboseli National Park. Extensive morning game drive in search of Large Elephant Herds, Lions, Hyena, Bat Eared Fox, Cheetah and Plains Game Picnic Lunch at Amboseli Observation Hill. – watch elephants bathe in a swamp from the summit. A pyramid-shaped volcanic hill rising over the predominantly flat Amboseli National Park allows you to admire a view of the dessert plains and swamps against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro while you enjoy your lunch. After lunch proceed for a full afternoon game drive game drive. 16.00 hrs: Optional Visit a traditional village and engage in captivating dances, melodious songs, witness their fire-making techniques, and embrace the enriching experience of their distinctive culture (USD 25) Return to camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Amboseli / Tsavo West

07.00 hrs: After breakfast, leave Amboseli Game Reserve for Tsavo West National Park. Game Drive en-route, arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge. 15.00 hrs: After lunch, proceed for a game drive in search of big cats, plains game and the Tsavo’s red Elephants. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Tsavo West / Nairobi Or Mombasa

06.30 hrs: After breakfast, proceed to Mzima Springs where hippos and varied fish are seen swimming in the clear waters. Late Breakfast at the Lodge and thereafter return to Nairobi OR take the Train to Mombasa (included in the price.)

Kenyan Safaris a thrilling experience We were a group of 14 and decided on a 11 day tour to witness wlid life in Kenya. We decided on doing the tour thru best camping which was customized for us It was a very good experience for all of us and things were arranged very well right from the time we landed in Kenya till we departed 11 days later. We were given 3 land cruisers which made our travel comfortable. Our 3 drivers cum guides abdullah, Patrik and Ben were really good and extremely helpful. The hotels and the arrangements were very well managed. Imran and Shifana the owners of best camping were in constant touch to ensure everything was going well. The sightings at all venues added to the exhilarating experience. Staying in tents in Masai mara for 3 days was a different experience which all enjoyed. All in all a great trip with wonderful arrangements. Would recommend best camping for all those who want to experience wild life

Best Trip We were 14 of us and i believe all of us were a little nervous of how our trip is going to be and how the tour will be managed. However, the warmth with which Best Camping - Imran and Shifana - welcomed us at the airport put us at ease and managed matters for us so beautifully, efficiently and excellently as would have been done only by family. Continuously in touch with us during the full tour, with the super driver guides - Ben, Abdallah and Patrick - and the sightings which we had only earlier dreamed of - made this really one of the BEST tours. Would love to repeat this trip again.

Bucket list tick ???? Our 11 day, 3 vehicle, 14 people tour was an amazing experience. The well laid out itinerary ensured we had a comfortable and safe journey through out. We were lucky to see the famed wildlife in this wonderful land, thanks to the keen instincts and knowledge of our guides, Ben, Abdullah and Patrika. Keep up the good work Imraan and Shifana. Great camping at the Masai Mara! My niece and I used Best Camping for the 3-day Masai Mara adventure. It was a great few days in the “bush”. Our driver, Simon, drove us the Nairobi, through the park on safari and back to Nairobi. The safari was amazing. We saw multiple prides of lion, hyena, cheetah, so many elephants, zebra and even a leopard. We also did the hot air balloon experience which was amazing. The owner met us at our hotel, gave us “travel snacks” and was so welcoming from start to finish. We arrived to the camp and the beds were comfy, tents were clean, and we had a private bathroom/hot shower. The guys at the camp were so friendly and we felt very safe and secure. The cook, Joseph was excellent with both meat and veggie options. This was a great “bush” experience that I hope to do again soon.

Trip of a lifetime The trip was incredible. We went for our honeymoon and it was the trip of a lifetime. Best Camping was truly fantastic and Imraan was so incredibly helpful. We went to Ngorongoro and the Sarengeti. Everything was organized with tremendous care and thought. We would go again in a heartbeat.

Parikh Family Best Trip 6/2024 We went to Kenya with all our family members total of 10 with my 2 daughters family and 4 grandchildren. Best Camping tours with Mr Imrran Nanji and he has done excellent arrangements with all luxury tents and lodges in Amboseli as well as in Masai Mara and in Nakuru . We are vegetarian and Food at all places was excellent and had lot of tasty Indian food and chefs would make food that we requested also. We were in 2 vans and his drivers were remarkable and took us to all Safari and saw lots of animals too. Mr. IMRAAN NANJI spend lot of time with us and made us feel like a family member which was beyond our expectations and we had privilege to meet his wife, daughter and son. His personal attention was appreciated very much. We were celebrating Anniversary and birthday for IMRAAN made sure that the celebration was done with cake and with music and staff dances. Hot Air balloon was the highlight of our trip with lot of animals viewing and excellent breakfast where we landed and celebrated 80 th birthday for my husband. This trip was remarkable life time experience and according to my kids and grandkids this was the best trip ever. This was possible because of Best Camping tour company and Mr. IMRAAN NANJI .
