Day 1: Nairobi to the Enchanting Masai Mara:
0630 hrs: After Full Safari Briefing depart Nairobi Via the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you’ll relish glimpses of subsistence farmlands and local community settlements. But the real crescendo of the day awaits you. As you arrive in the Masai Mara in time for a hearty lunch, you’re about to embark on an adventure that will etch itself into your memory. Your first game drive is the day’s crowning jewel, where the Mara reveals its wildlife treasures. The thrill of the unknown and the prospect of encountering Africa’s iconic Big Five – lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos – fill the air with palpable excitement.
Your skilled safari guide, well-versed in the Mara’s secrets, will navigate you through this rich terrain. The wildlife abounds in its natural glory, and the Mara’s diverse ecosystems promise sightings of magnificent creatures around every turn.
As the golden African sun begins its descent, you return to camp in the late evening for a delectable dinner. Here, you’ll be serenaded by the enchanting sounds of the African night, while our knowledgeable Masai Guides regale you with exciting stories of the Mara’s rich heritage and wildlife. 06.30 hrs: Early to rise early to spot. This is one of the best game drives of the day.
After breakfast and a hot cup of Chai (Tea) or Kahawa (coffee) head into the park for our first game drive.
The cool early morning weather is excellent for spotting Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Hyena. Return to the camp for lunch.
15.30 hrs: Full Afternoon game drive. On every game drive we will try and explore a different part of the park. After watching the beautiful Mara Sunset head back to camp for dinner and overnight.
