Day 1: Nairobi to the Enchanting Masai Mara:

0630 hrs: After Full Safari Briefing depart Nairobi Via the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you’ll relish glimpses of subsistence farmlands and local community settlements. But the real crescendo of the day awaits you. As you arrive in the Masai Mara in time for a hearty lunch, you’re about to embark on an adventure that will etch itself into your memory. Your first game drive is the day’s crowning jewel, where the Mara reveals its wildlife treasures. The thrill of the unknown and the prospect of encountering Africa’s iconic Big Five – lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos – fill the air with palpable excitement.

Your skilled safari guide, well-versed in the Mara’s secrets, will navigate you through this rich terrain. The wildlife abounds in its natural glory, and the Mara’s diverse ecosystems promise sightings of magnificent creatures around every turn.

As the golden African sun begins its descent, you return to camp in the late evening for a delectable dinner. Here, you’ll be serenaded by the enchanting sounds of the African night, while our knowledgeable Masai Guides regale you with exciting stories of the Mara’s rich heritage and wildlife. It’s an evening of both wonder and cultural immersion, under the star-studded Mara sky.

06.30 hrs: Early to rise early to spot. This is one of the best game drives of the day.

After breakfast and a hot cup of Chai (Tea) or Kahawa (coffee) head into the park for our first game drive.

The cool early morning weather is excellent for spotting Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Hyena. Return to the camp for lunch.

15.30 hrs: Full Afternoon game drive. On every game drive we will try and explore a different part of the park. After watching the beautiful Mara Sunset head back to camp for dinner and overnight.

0800 hrs: After breakfast proceed on a FULL DAY game drive along the Mara river in search of signs of the wildebeest and Zebra Crossing in hope to experience one of the wonders of the world. As the saying goes, patience is a virtue and in search of this miracle patience will be rewarded. Thereafter proceed to the Hippo Pool for a picnic lunch. Here you can come out of the vehicle and sit on the rocks and view hippos and crocodiles in the river. You can also go for a short walk with a warden. Arrive at Camp for Dinner and overnight.
08.00 hrs: After breakfast proceed on a FULL DAY game drive along the Mara river in search of signs of the wildebeest and Zebra Crossing in hope to experience one of the wonders of the world. Early Morning bird walk along the shore of Lake Elementaita. After breakfast depart past Lake Naivasha and Mt Longont through the Rift Valley and crossing over to the Great Athi Plains. Picnic Lunch en-route. Drive South on the Nairobi Mombasa highway to the Loitokitok road arriving at Amboseli National Park in the late afternoon. 15.30 hrs: Full Afternoon game drive. Arrive at camp in the late evening for dinner and overnight at Camp.
08.00 hrs: After Breakfast depart for a full day game drive of Amboseli National Park. Extensive morning game drive in search of Large Elephant Herds, Lions, Hyena, Bat Eared Fox, Cheetah and Plains Game Picnic Lunch at Amboseli Observation Hill. – watch elephants bathe in a swamp from the summit. A pyramid-shaped volcanic hill rising over the predominantly flat Amboseli National Park allows you to admire a view of the dessert plains and swamps against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro while you enjoy your lunch. After lunch proceed for a full afternoon game drive game drive. 16.00 hrs: Optional Visit a traditional village and engage in captivating dances, melodious songs, witness their fire-making techniques, and embrace the enriching experience of their distinctive culture (USD 25) Return to camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
Leisurely depart from Amboseli arriving in Nairobi in Nairobi at around 14.00 hrs. Optional – Train to Mombasa arriving.
